When it Rains it Pours

in Everyday Life, Family on 05/06/09

So my family has bad luck sometimes. We use the expression… “When it Rains it Pours”.

Started off

It started off with Memorial Weekend, my dad wasn’t feeling good and had to go to the hospital. That Saturday night they had to rush him into surgery to remove his appendix. So he was in the hospital up until Tuesday. To not make a long story so long, he ended up having to go the hospital again this past Monday. He had fever and an infection. The doctors couldn’t find the infection but with the antibiotics they gave him it killed any infection he may have had. They let him out yesterday.

The other thing…

The other thing, not long a go my sister in law went to the hospital for stomach pains, they didn’t find anything. She had stomach pains again yesterday and went to the doctor. The found a cyst on her ovary. The good news if there is any, is that it’s a water cysts. They said from the time she went to the hospital to now it’s grown 6 inches. That’s a lot for a cyst on your ovary. So she is getting an ultrasound and may have to get surgery to remove it.

So like my mom says… “With our family, when it rains it pours”!

When it Rains it Pours

I know things usually happen in 3’s. Or so “they” say. Is this 3 things already? Since my dad was in the hospital twice, then that counts as 2 things right? And now my sister in law’s cyst, so 3?!?

Well another day in our family life….

XO,
Kristin Nicole
