Hi, I’m Kristin Nicole Carrera, a dedicated stay-at-home working mom to three energetic boys. Balancing motherhood with my passion for wellness and professional work keeps me busy, but it’s a fulfilling journey. My commitment to a healthy, non-toxic lifestyle has led me to embrace the Carnivore Diet, a choice that has profoundly impacted my health and well-being.
My Health Journey
On January 1, 2024, I embarked on the Carnivore Diet after struggling with a range of health issues, including eight years of depression, anxiety, inflammation, thyroid Graves’ disease, microscopic colitis, brain fog, and fatigue. Despite trying various diets such as keto, low-carb, and a gut protocol that restricted carbs, grains, gluten, and dairy, I found that increasing my vegetable intake only worsened my gut issues.
Wellness practices like meditation, grounding techniques, and using crystals provided some relief, but it was the Carnivore Diet that brought the most significant improvements. I experienced substantial reductions in depression, anxiety, and inflammation, along with increased energy and mental clarity. While I’m not a doctor or nutritionist, my personal journey with the Carnivore Diet has been transformative, and I’m eager to share my experiences to help others who might be facing similar challenges.
My Professional Path
In addition to being a full-time mom, I run Social Vibe, a social media agency where I assist businesses with social media management, content creation, and strategy. My background includes a Master’s degree in New Media Journalism, which has been instrumental in shaping my expertise in digital marketing and communications.
I am also a wellness coach specializing in home workouts, helping individuals achieve their fitness goals from the comfort of their own homes. Through personalized coaching and guidance, I aim to empower others to integrate effective fitness routines into their daily lives.
I also host a podcast called “Kristin Carrera,” where I delve into my personal journey with the Carnivore Diet, sharing insights and experiences to support others on their health and wellness journeys.
