Happy Monday?!?! Well I have never been a Fan, I’ll tell you that. The having to wake up so early after sleeping in on the weekend, the fact that I have to get ready for work and not stay in bed sleeping. The list can go on. But I’m thinking POSITIVE. Today will be a great day! =)
So on another note, how was your weekend?
I know many people got surprised by flowers on Friday, almost a little pre-valentine gift. I know I was one of those people. I was surprised with a basket of pink Roses and Lilly’s. Lilly’s are my favorite, I was surprised when I saw them and so happy. Friday I had a quiz to do, so we didn’t do much. I was also exhausted from the whole week. Saturday morning we met up with my parents, sister, brother, sister in-law, & nephews for a wonderful breakfast. After breakfast we went home to relax before going out to dinner at night. We went to Brasanova. Great steak, great Margarita with Patron and great company! The night was perfect! I won’t go into details about the night 😉
Sunday I left my boyfriend at home and went on a girls day adventure to the Coconut Grove Arts Festival. It was perfect weather, other years it’s so hot and sweaty, but this year, just perfect! We ate, ate, and ate. The art this year was spectacular. It’s amazing the talented people we have all over the world. There were sculptures I haven’t seen in the Arts Festival, and wax figures that were so real, people were passing them by, thinking it was a real person. The music was great. The people in the audience, not so great. I couldn’t believe the boring people that live in Miami. The people singing were yelling, “IS EVERYONE HAVING A GOOD TIME”! And I can hear a little fly pass by my ear. My family and a few people around us after about the 2nd or 3rd time of the poor guy repeating himself started clapping and yelling. A little after that a few more people got their spirits up. Now I wasn’t around in the 70 & 80’s, but my aunt, says those were the best times. People would go crazy and just have so much fun. I remember the 90’s when I was young and used to go with my aunt it was still similar. People with their blankets and the place was packed. It was still a wonderful outcome. A lot of people and a lot of children. This year they even had more activity for the children. Wonderful day to end my weekend. Afterward I went home, and relaxed with my boyfriend.
How was your weekend? What did you get for Valentines? Share your stories….

Kinda wish I would have gone to the arts festival but I’m glad I stayed home working as I was able to wrap some very frustrating things up.
I’m also I didn’t go because the fried food would have been TEMPTING! 🙂
