I woke up this morning, thinking positive, thinking life is great, work is going to be great today, I’m feeling great. Then I sit into my office, and like I normally do before starting work and waking up I read the daily news.
Pompano Beach Woman Killed In Hit & Run Accident This is the first thing I read this morning. Devastating they state that she may have even been run over more than once. The women is only 52 years old. That’s 2 years older than my mother. This has to be someones mother, sister, daughter, even perhaps someones grandmother. Now in one second she’s gone, because some asshole who couldn’t get out of their car to call 911. They could have possibly saved her, and maybe not, maybe the injuries were too severe, but now we’ll never know will we? If you want to read more Click HERE
What is this world coming to? This heartless, this cold, as to think that a single person can do such harmful acts. I couldn’t come to fathom what it must feel to even hit someone, maybe it was a mistake. But I also can’t see myself leaving the person their to die.
I say a prayer for this woman’s family to have the strength to surpass this horrible time, I pray they catch the person who ran over this women and left her there to die.

Sheesh. That’s terrible.
Like you said, it would be hard to imagine hitting someone but I think leaving the scene is the last thing I would do (unless it is to find help, but mostly everyone has a cell phone).
Keep thinking positive, ugliness will keep happening in the world, you’ll just attract the good. 🙂
